Latest News from the club
The Workington Radio Club Club (callsign MX0WRC) has been in existence for a few short years and meets every other Monday evening in the Helena Thompson Museum in the town of Workington. The club has built up a strong base and is always open to new members wanting to join a friendly group of hams for a chat, learn new skills or as a way of getting into the hobby.
We are lucky to have a shack in the museum that allows us to operate from a fantastic setting. The club is a keen supporter of local special event stations including SOS Radio Week and railways on the air.
The Club welcomes visitors and is always on the look out for new members so if you’re in the area or interested then just drop in to the Museum, the meetings run from 7pm until 9pm with activities each meeting night. For meeting dates please look at the calendar which is on the menu above.
